Bulgaria: President Appoints Caretaker Government
Reading Time: < 1 minuteBulgaria’s president’s Security and Defence Secretary, Stefan Yanev, will be the prime minister of Bulgaria’s caretaker government. President Rumen Radev has appointed the government by decree. Gulub Donev will be deputy prime minister for Economic and Social Policy and Minister of Labor and Social Policy, Boiko Rashkov becomes deputy prime minister for Public Order and Security and Minister of Interior. Georgi Panayotov will serve as the defence minister and Svetlan Stoev as the minister for Foreign Affairs. The caretaker government will lead Bulgaria until early parliamentary elections schedule for two months from now.
