New Bridge Reduces Border Crossings in Croatia
Reading Time: < 1 minuteCroatia’s prime minister says a soon-to-be constructed bridge ensures his country’s borders. Set for completion in October, the Pelješac Bridge, which is being built by the China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC), will allow travelers to go to the southern part of Croatia without having to cross a thin section of Bosnia-Hercegovina that cuts through Croatia and ends on a strip of Adriatic Sea coastline. Those traveling to Dubrovnik will no longer have to traverse two border crossings when the project is done.
Incidentally, CRBC is the company involved in a highly controversial motorway construction project in Montenegro.
